Hello! My name is Valentina Covaci and I'm finishing end of June the MA in Medieval Studies at Central European University, Budapest. My level is between intermediate and advanced and I'm loooking for a few months period shcolarship which will allow me to improve my Latin level. I am a beginner, having taken some German in school. I want to learn a second language mainly because I believe it to be important to continue learning new things throughout my life. I also have a desire to learn about other cultures and ways of life. I am a beginner and as such I need to work on all aspects of the language I am learning. I would like to come up with a schedule for lessons with the teacher I choose. A teacher with patience will be important, as I am only starting out.

I have never taken latin classes. However, as a theology student, I would like to learn the basics of latin, hebrew, and greek so I can do first-hand research more accurately.
I can dedicate at least 4 hours per week for learning purposes. The only way I can learn is having a patient teacher who really wants me to learn and remembers that I've never taken classic languages before.
