I will be traveling to Japan in June 2011, and was hoping to be able to speak enough Japanese to be respectful while I am there. I will also be going into the Travel and Tourism industry in the near future and I believe that the knowledge of at least basic Japanese would be an asset! I am at the beginner level. I am unsure of my schedule at the moment, as I will be starting school at the end of the month, but I am willing to devote as much time as possible to learning the language. I am looking for a patient and understanding teacher, who also challenges me.

My name is Eileen. My family is from the Dominican Republic. I love east asian languages and have been studying Japanese since I was fourteen. I hope to further myself in the Japanese language as well as delve into more east asian languages.
