We are working in a software company. Some of us are from Chennai (8-12 people). Basically being involved in HR Team I would like to learn to interact with people, I want to learn Hindi. First I and my colleague would like to learn Hindi, so could advice others also join. As this is of our own interest, fees is to paid by ourselves. We searched and find that Hindi is taught in Ramakrishna Math at Rs.500 and eventhough it is close from our place, we find it difficult coz of our timings. We work for US timings.

I came across this site while searching for hindi classes in the baltimore area. I am interested in improving my conversationa l hindi, and also learning the basics of reading and writing. hi! I am born in the UK and am very fluent in English and Punjabi (speaking, listening, reading and writing). However, i wish to learn Hindi (i can listen and understand and speak basic hindi - i tend to revert to Punjabi which is practically the same spoken but need to become fluent in Hindi) can write 60-70% of Hindi (though very slowly) so half the job of the tutor is done! I am a student at Cass Business School, City University completing a degree in BSc Investment & Financial Risk Management and see the gaining of the hindi language as important for my future career in emerging markets (India is a sleeping giant to an extent). Also i believe learning Hindi will help me to understand my own Sikh culture and also improve my Punjabi as well. I wish to mainly improve my writing, reading and conversation skills (listening is good). I can dedicate upto 2-3 hours a week (depending on my degree work).
