I have been regularly visiting Spanish-speak ing countries in recent months - both for work and leisure - and I have decided to try to learn some conversationa l Spanish.
I will be working in Madrid between Monday May 20th 2013 and Saturday June 1st 2013, and I want to try to organise some individual lessons, fitting them around my work schedule.
I hope to be able to take approximately 10 one-hour lessons during the two week period.
I would describe myself as a beginner, but a fast learner.

My partner is German and I would like to speak under the German languge, because we spend a lot of time in German. I would say in terms of understanding the structure of the language and vocabulary I am intermediate, but lack confident in the speaking. I am, at this stage more interested in conversationa l speaking and later develop greater understanding of the grammar of the language. I can dedicated a lot of time but need a very good tutor who can explain and help me to under stand.

I am a British citizen, male, 35 years old and am interested in a course in May or June this year.
The reason for my interest is that I am a paramedic in the UK and am interested in volunteering alongside the Syrian ambulance crews for a short time and believe some basic language skills may be of some help. Also I hope to meet any individual in Syria who might have some links with the local voluntary ambulance crews who may be able to help me.
