I wish to learn Polish as I have accepted a job opprotunity in Poland beginning September 2011.
I have no prior knowledge of Polish.
I would like to learn basics that will get me by living in Poland (catching public transport, shopping, asking directions, introducing myself etc).
I would like to dedicate at least two hours a week to learning.
Two colleagues of mine may join me in the lessons as well.

Greetings!
-I wish to learn Polish to understand my friends in Poland better - they both speak English, but I know to truly know them, I need to speak Polish as well.
-Absol ute Beginner. I speak some German.
- I wish to be able to converse and read Polish.
- I don't know how much time is necessary. I would like to know how many hours per week is appropriate to learn a new language.
- Patience and affordability ; I am a substitute teacher and don't have much money. I am willing to trade services such as editing and website maintenance for language lessons.

I am writing on behalf of the company I work for which has a base on the outskirts of Manchester in the town of Leigh.
We have a variety of business functions, Accounts, HR, Procurement, Supply Chain. As we have another site in Poland in Nowa Sol and many colleagues from this region we are thinking of facilitating classes on our site.
Thes e would mostly be beginner classes to give employees the basics in order to communicate with colleagues. We would be hoping to hold a class on site and currently I am thinking at around 4:30pm for an hour and half once a week.
