I am learning Mandarin for career advancement, travel purposes, and personal interest.
I believe that I am an intermediate student, because I have studied Mandarin for 3 years at Queen's University (reading, writing, speaking).
I feel that I need particular improvement in conversationa l Mandarin, as my speach (speed, pronounciatio n) is the weakest (behing reading and writing).
I would like to dedicate 1 hour/week of instruction, but I can put in 2 additional hours per week of personal study/homewor k.
I am looking for a teacher that has experience teaching mandarin to adults as a second language, can adapt lessons to business conversation, and has unique activities to improve my speach.

I'm interested in learning mandarin for my daily communication purposes. I'm working in the biggest retailer company which need me to deals with suppliers that mostly are Chinese. It may also helps me to communicate with my Chinese co-worker. Its an advantage for me to knows others language besides Malay and English for my career enhancement.
I have no basic in mandarin and prefer a tutor that can teach me step-by-step from basic to a higher level perhaps.
I'm looking for a home tutor that can teach me 4 -5 hrs per week. thanks!
