My Russian is already at what I consider an intermediate level. My wife is originally from Belarus, and in addition to spending about 5 months in Russia, I've done a good bit of self study. I have basic conversationa l skills, basic knowledge of grammer, and can read fairly well (limited by vocabulary). I've read several full length books in Russian. My writing is very poor as I never practice it.
I'm interested in continuing to learn Russian to enhance my ability to interact with Russians and to broaden my understanding of Russian culture and the Russian people.
I' m interested in classes twice a week and am committed to additional self-study. I work full time in the Alpharetta area.
I'm interested in an instructor that can work and leverage my current skills in Russian rather than being treated as a beginner.

I am learning Russian because my partner is Russian and does not speak English and I would like to work in the Russian Federation. I need improvement in grammar and I am prepared to spend approximately 2 hours a week studying. I'd like to learn Russian in preparation for travel to St. Petersburg. I'm interested in dance history and would like to visit the Maryinsky Theater and the Kirov Ballet School as an observer.
I'm a total beginner, and would like to take two lessons a month at first.
I would like to work with a teacher who is able to work with beginners and will focus on drill work and short skits rather than excessive grammar analysis.
If possible, I'd perfer someone interested in the arts as well.
