I am an equity research analyst covering mainland Chinese companies in aviation and shipping. I need help to understand relatively advanced texts and industry/fina ncial terminology and lingo, as well as general Chinese grammar and sentence patterns. For instance, I may need to read annual reports and prospectuses, as well as other official releases by the companies to the HK Stock Exchange. This is to enable me to understand oral presentations made by these companies, and to enable me to communicate with them face-to-face or via telephone call/email. I believe that I am at the Intermediate or Upper Intermediate level of Chinese, with a modest ability to listen, read and speak in Mandarin.
