I've been studying Japanese for several years now, but I will be spending a semester at Kyushu University next spring and I need to improve my skills dramatically before I leave. My classes will be in Japanese.
I took AP Japanese in high school, but I had a 2.5 year hiatus before restarting in college this past spring(we didn't have any advanced levels).
I definitely need to work on my conversation skills and remembering grammar structures that I learned before but have since forgotten.
I am home for the summer, but working during the day. I would love to dedicate at least 3 hours a week to lessons.
I'm looking for a teacher that can accommodate my half-forgotte n language skills and someone who can really push me to learn quickly and well. I also need someone who would be willing to help me learn architecture and urban design related terms, as that is what I will be studying in Japan.

Japanese is one of the languages I've always wanted to learn. I'm a beginner so I dont really know much.I want to learn how to speak it fluently but thats going to be hard so first I would like to learn the basics. I'm not really focusing on learning how to write, just conversation. If its possible I would like to have lessons once or twice a week for an hour each and on weekdays. I'm fine with any teaching style as long as I understand everything and I can ask a lot of questions.
