I am learning Japanese because after returning from my time in Japan and being married to a Japanese woman, I want to become a better speaker for many different reasons.
I suppose that I would be a high beginner or lower intermediate. I can read katakana, hiragana and basic kanji. My grammar and conversation need the most work.
I am hoping to take a private lesson once a week.
In the teacher - I need someone fluent in English and who will assign me homework - have to stay motivated!

I have just been hired by a local Austin subsiduary of Mitsubshi Company. The office is 90% Japanese personell and I would like to have a better understanding of the language (both spoken and written). I am a beginner and have had no previous Japanese language training.
I am professionall y employeed, with both a BS and MBA, and enjoy the learning environment. My preferance is in evening or weekend face to face classes, and can be one or one, or with several students.

Hello, I'm currently learning Japanese for personal improvement and because of a love for the language. I've had a few official lessons but for the past two years I've mainly been self-taught, which is why I'm looking for teacher to improve and correct my skills. I'd class myself as an advanced beginner or low intermediate for comprehension , but I've rarely spoken the language so that would take some work. I want to get to the point where I can hold a conversation with a native speaker without too much stammering!
I'm looking for one on one lessons (preferably), once or twice a week. No set price. Thank you!
