I am a beginner and I have been studying with an interactive CDROM. I have learned about 100 verbs in the present tense with simple sentence structure. I will be going for the third time to Guatemala in January 2012, for a one month volunteer mission. Our charitable organization provides care and education for families in extreme poverty.
I would like to be more advanced with my conversation skill which is pretty basic at this point. Our native Guatemalan friend who we will be working with told me he will only speak Spanish with me the next time I am there :),so the pressure is on. I am able to dedicate several hours a week but need some flexibility.
