CIAO :)
We are a Danish couple (age 25 and 27) who have moved to Milan to study for one year. We really wish to learn italian, especially to be able to speak sentences in our everyday life here in Italy. We do not have any previous knowledge of Italian, so it has to be at beginners level - but are eager to study hard :) Our english level is good, so we prefer, you speak a bit of english as well, in case it is needed :)
We wish to start by having approx. 4 hours per week (2 x 2 hours) and then when we feel we start getting somewhere, then we just have 2 hours a week.
We really want to have focus on conversation, but of course it is nice if it is also combined with some reading, writing and grammar.
As we are students, our budget is not to high unfortunately , but we are looking for lessons over a longer period, and can come meet you wherever you wish to teach!

I wish to improve my English which is very basic (someone is writing this for me!).
Init ially, I would like a trial of a few private one-to-one lessons to teach me conversationa l English. If it goes well I may do more.
Pref erably the tutor could come to my son's apartment in Milan or I could go to an office/classr oom for the lessons.
I could start later this month (October 2013). I'd like afternoon lessons that we can arrange as we go.

I lived in Sicily about 15 years ago and am embarrassed that I did not learn to speak Italian. I have some basic vocabulary and grammar - I guess I would call myself an advanced beginner (if there is such a thing!)
I visit Italy about twice each year (especially Milan) and would like live lessons while here.
When back in Australia, I would be happy to continue online lessons if I found the teacher a good match with me.
I will be in Milan the week of October 28 - if any teachers have availability in that week it would be great to connect.
