Hello,
I'm a married 36 year old who works in the telecommunica tions industry. I have been studying on my own for the last year with 'chinesepod.c om' and can now have small broken conversation, order food, and buy things. I do think that having a teacher would better improve my mandarin. I live near Fort Worth, but can travel to Dallas for lessons. Group lessons are OK.

My roommate and I are looking to learn Farsi. We are both beginners with no experience. Additionally, we are wanting to learn Farsi b/c we are both 1/2 persian and wanting to utilize this language as a career advancement. I am already fluent in Spanish as a second language; however, my goal is to speak like a native speaker in business settings.
I have traveled and worked extensively throughout Latin America for years, most recently in Mexico, D.F. But I still need to work one-on-one with a native speaker to improve my speaking ability.
