I'm born in Germany and I speak German, English and French.
My parents are originally from Kerala so their mother tongue is Malayalam. But unfortunately it's not my mother tongue and since we didn't speak much Malayalam at home, my knowledge is very basic. I would like to change that now and take lessons in Malayalam to improve my knowledge. I don't know for example how to read but actually my main goal at the moment would be to have fluent conversations with my relatives.
I would like to take around 2h per week - in the evening or weekends.

I want to learn Malayalam because it is my mother tongue as I am a first generation American. I can somewhat understand bits and pieces of Malayalam from what my family speaks around me, but I cannot speak Malayalam. I need improvement learning how to speak the language fluently. I would love to dedicate two hours a week towards learning Malayalam. I am looking for a teacher who can help me learn and relate the language in a manner and pace that works for me.

Hi there,
I am looking for an online Malayalam tutor. My partner of 4 years is from Kerala and I would love to learn the language so I can communicate with her extended and immediate family (extended family do not speak English). We will likely have kids as well, which we both want to be able to speak their native tongue.
I currently only know a few words here and there, so very much a beginner. My partner and I live together, so I will be able to practice everyday.
