My husband and I are looking for a language tutor with whom we could spend about one hour, twice a week, learning Spanish. We have studied French, but Spanish is a new language for us; we'd be coming in at a beginner level. We prefer South American Spanish and a native speaker, but at this point are open minded to work with the tutor that best suits our style, even if s/he has different qualification s.

My office is sending students for foreign schoolings in other countries who delivers their instruction through their respective local languages. The countries include Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Spain, Brunei, Korea and Singapore. Our selected candidates for the courses offered by foreign countries are all beginners on the dialects of the country that they are selected to go for schooling. Our desire for our candidates is for them to be able to understand and translate into the english or tagalog language the laguage of the foreign country and and able to converse with their co-students and teachers. In this case, we are about to send students in Indonesia hence, we require them to learn the Bahasa Indonesia prior to attending the course. The Short Course consisting of 30 hours of instruction will do.

Dear Sir/Madam,
since I get more and more fascinated with the Chinese culture, I would like to (at least) make a good start with reading and speaking Mandarin. I am aware of the fact that this is an very complex language, but I consider it rather a (big) challenge than a problem. I planned to visit Beijing this summer of 2009.
I prefer 1 or 2 lessons a week during week days (not Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Preferable in the evening, but during day time is possible though.
I am beginner with zero experience.
