My dream has always been to be fluent in many different languages. I currently speak English, Sign Language, and decent Spanish. I would like to learn Norwegian (this one is most important to me), Arabic, German, and Portuguese. I have some experience/pr actice with Norwegian. I am pretty new to German, Arabic, and Portuguese.
I am currently majoring in Spanish in college and Minoring in Arabic.
I would like to focus mainly on conversationa l skills/pronun ciation/accent .
I study some everyday and would like about two lessons per week in whatever language I can find a tutor/teacher for.
I need a teacher who is patient. I can be painfully shy at first so speaking new languages in front of teachers can be intimidating for me in the beginning.

I desire to learn Spanish to better communicate with my students and their parents. Learning Spanish would be beneficial during travel. It would also mean a great deal to me to be able to engage in conversationa l Spanish with my bilingual friends.
I think my proficiency level is beginner.
Areas where I need improvement are: conversation, grammar, and listening
I would like to dedicate 60-90 min/lesson for 1-2 years.
I am looking for a teacher with patience yet rigorous and has high expectations of me. I would like the teacher to expose and enlighten me on latin culture during lessons.

I am contacting you regarding tutoring service for high school Spanish students. My son Colby is currently a junior in the Natomas area, and struggling with Spanish II. What I am looking for is someone willing to meet initially with Colby, his Spanish teacher and myself, so that we can identify what areas he is struggling with and path forward.
