There are 2 of us interested in learning Gujarati. My parents spoke it in the home when I was young, however I cannot speak it. I understand it quite well. My boyfriend wants to learn and he is a native English speaker, and doesn't speak it at all. We would like to learn it because I am Gujarati. We both would like to speak it conversationa lly. We are looking for Weekday evening classes or possibly Weekend morning classes. Wee prefer weekday evening. We would like to find a teacher who would like to teach us both together even though one of us does know a little bit. An ideal teacher would be one who has a passion for language and for teaching languages!

I took Mandarin for 6 mothns with a one on one tutor and i learned all of the pin yin, a fair amount of writing and reading. I am an advanced beginner. I would like to dedicate 1-2 hours a week for Mandarin.
