I moved to Munich last May in order to live in the same country as my wife!
I did not study German at school, but have been trying to learn it through books. I had about 10 private lessons in London before I moved to Germany. I need improvement in all areas, although I think I am a quick learner - I studied Latin and Greek and learnt French and a bit of Italian.
Unfortuna tely, my job requires me to work full-time in English, and therefore I have not progressed as quickly as I would have wanted. Also, I find that people in Munich do not generally speak German in such a way that 'foreigners' can easily follow them - ie speaking slowly and clearly and using words which are likely to be understood.
I am currently working for a real-estate-f und in Munich.
I want to try and dedicate one hour a day to learning the language. Initially, I want to learn to speak slowly but correctly.
I would like private lessons because this is the most effective way to learn.

i want to learn German for may future carrer plans, i am planning to apply to EU countries which usually requires German language literacy. i dont have any prior knowlegde of the languange, only few greetings that i often forget. i am on a complicated shift at work, so i can only study on weekends if possible saturday afternoon or sunday. i would like to learn from a teacher that is very much passionate about teaching the language..

We would like our 6y old daughter to take German private lessons in Bangkok for 1-3x per week. She speaks a few words only. First priority is to speak, then grammar and reading/writi ng.
