I have come to Mumbai on a work-contract in the film-industry for one year. My work and interest in languages requires me to find a private tutor on a daily basis. In my job I often have to communicate with people in the light-departm ent who do not speak english.
I am a beginner in Hindi. I have tried to grasp basic words and get an idea of the grammar while working but I need to combine this with professional language-less ons.
I have studied english, french and spanish which I speak fluently. I have a good knowledge of grammar in latin languages. In the beginning I would like to have daily private lessons. The theme of the lessons should be connected to my specific work. I am looking for a teacher who speaks several languages and who is capable of comparing hindi grammar with the grammar of latin languages. I am a devoted student with a good ear for languages. Learning languages is one of my favourite challenges in life which is the reason why I want to learn hindi, being a swedish person. I also find it stimulating to learn hindi in India since the reward from the people when I try to speak is great and filled with smiles.

Namaste! ...and you've just read the extent of my Hindi knowledge. However, I am hoping you can help me change that. Obviously, I'm a beginner, and would like to learn because I am planning a visit to India next year. Although I know they speak English also, I would like to know a little, or better yet, a lot, of their native tongue.
