I have grown up in a household where Polish was spoken, but never learned it, although I understand a few things. However I never learned how to read or write it, nor do I know the tenses.
I really want to get in touch with my Polish heritage (half Polish/half German) and go and visit my family (mother's side) back in Poland.
I would like to start off once a week for one month and see how it goes.
I would like to find a patient person who listens and answers questions in a friendly manner.

I have beginner's knowledge of Arabic and would like to increase my conversationa l ability as well as writing and especially spelling and grammar. I can meet with a tutor once or twice a week either in Atlanta, where I work, or New York (preferably Brooklyn or Manhattan) where I live. I have travelled to the Middle East, and lived in Yemen for 5 years, but that was 30+ years ago. I still remember the writing and pronounciatio n, but my skills are quite rusty. I work as an airline pilot, and my knowledge of Arabic would be helpful to many of my regular customers. Thank you for your response

I am from a Polish family so I have a basic understanding of the language. I can understand a lot of what people say to me, but only if they are things my family would say. I don't know a lot of basic words, (for example all the colors or numbers) and I can not read to well. I need help with pronunciation as well, my tounge always gets twisted up.
