I have been studying Hindi in Canada with a tutor for about 20 months. I can read and write fairly well, but need a lot of practise with both speaking and listening. I am learning Hindi because I love India and would like to spend some more time there, possibly in a volunteer position for a women's shelter or orphanage. I have been to India twice in the past couple of years, and am planning to return in January of 2005 for three months. I would like to find someone in India to tutor me while I am there. I am willing to locate to any place in which I can find an appropriate teacher.
