I'd like to learn Chinese because I'm going to Hong Kong in the fall for an exchange. My level is that of an absolute beginner, but I'd like to focus on conversation so that I will be able to get by when I'm there. I am learning for two resons ,one i wanted to learn for many years as a self achievement and will by accident advance career a little.
I am a beginner working on self study with 'new practical chinese' books.
I would need help in all areas i think , i would like to read,write,sp eak fluently.

I am going into the field of the music business and want to enter the Chinese market. My mom is chinese and my father is scottish. I think being able to speak fluent Manderin from a business and heritage perspective is something very important to have. I also would love to be able to speak to my grandmother.
Unfortuna tely I have no experience in Manderin and only understood a little when I was younger.
I would like to dedicate this summer until University begins.
I would like a teacher that is very hands on and is able to use english and basic scenerios to help better my understanding .
