I want to learn how to speak Việtnam ese to a basic level. A level where I can feel comfortable speaking about simple things such as where I am from and that I am greatful to be visiting Việt Nam and can talk about how appreciative I am for my host's hospitality.
I am going to Việt Nam for my 3rd time in Feb 2011. This time I want to be able to converse a little more than just getting through the basic politeness and pleasantries.
I want to be able to show my Việt friends that I am making a huge effort to not only better understand their culture but to be able to show them how much I appreciate and enjơy being in their country.
