I am nowhere with Arabic and am deeply interested to learn Arabic for business and profession. I would dedicate 4-6 hours every week for the same. I would prefer that the teacher speaks, reads, writes English fluently whcih shall match my capabilities and help in learning the language initially and also translate hard words/sentenc es. I would also prefer that the teacher starts with spoken Arabic as an objective and then moves onto the intricacies of the language leading to reading & writing as well. The teacher should be well prepared with books and other media to support language teaching.

I am a beginner - I have studied European languages but never learned Hindi. I would like to learn Hindi as I have just moved to India with my husband, who is working in Bangalore. I would like to concentrate first of all on learning the Hindi script and some conversation, so that I can communicate effectively, and then move on to grammar when I am a bit more proficient. My strength in learning languages tends to be in grammar, though, so some basic grammar to put things in context would be good at the beginning. I would like to dedicate no more than one hour per day to lessons in person with the teacher, as I have other things that I do during the day, but am happy and prepared to do homework in the evenings so that I can improve. I would prefer a female teacher but would consider a male teacher, and I would like somebody who is patient and flexible (e.g. if I am away travelling I may need to cancel one or more lessons).
