I am British, married to a Palestinian for hte last 30 yrs. We lived in Kuwait for 5 yrs late 1970's early '80's where i did learn a little coloquial arabic. My children however did not learn any, born and grown in Canada and we would all now like to learn just to appreciate the language and culture and to be able to converse as they do have Arab names. We are prepared to attend classes a couple of times a week or have private tuition at home if this can be arranged evenings or weekends.Than k you and regards Sally

I am a beginner Arabic student. I taught myself how to write the script and some grammar, but still I am a long way from knowing how to speak. I like Arabic very much and would like to at least make myself understood to Arabic speakers and understand them in return. Someday I would like to travel to the Middle East and explore the culture in its original place. I am willing to spend a great deal of time learning the language providing that the cost is reasonable and the teacher teaches me well.
I like teachers who have a good teaching methodology, who can be fun and at the same time respect themselves.

I am interested in learning the Beginner level Arabic language. I am interested in marrying an Muslim man and I want to learn his language, if only for conversation. Once a week would be an appropriate time for me to dedicate to the lessons as I work during the day in a somewhat demanding job.
