Hi,
I am considering learning Russian because of a girl. But also because I am soon to be divorced, have a physically based job, and need something to put my mind to and focus on.
At this stage I would be interested in only one hour long session per week due to financial constraints. However, my current job leaves me with plenty of time to practice.
I am not sure of any specific qualities I am looking for in a teacher. I take people as they are, and if we work well together then the learning progress will of course be smoother. But someone with patience would most likely be beneficial.

Why you are learning your foreign language:
- I love the vietnamese culture however would like to become more aquainted with it in particular. Predominantlt y I would love to learn it because it would be beneficial to my everyday use as well as the future.
Yo ur proficiency level:
- Unfortunately , I do not know anything about the language and that makes me feel quite sadend. I would really love to give it a go.
How much time you want to dedicate to your language lessons:
- Unfortunately my current state of life makes it fairly difficult for me to plan and organise things to become deticated to. Although I believe I could give up time of the weekends fairly easily and I'm sure I can adjust my weekly routine.
What qualities you are looking for in your lessons or in your teacher:
- I'm looking for a teacher whom is patient, understanding , but will challenge me. I don't want to be just some other apprentice, but hope I can really be taken into account and be given all the neccessary information so I can succeed, and understand the culture.

Good day, my name is Trudy and I'm eager to learn this language. This is my husbands first language, and would love to be able to speak and understand his family when i go to visit them by the end of this year. I also would like to teach my children. I want to learn sign language because i have met a few deaf people in the past and haven't been able to communicate with them probably so would like to learn so i can change that. I am interested in other languages as well but wanted to start with sign. I have learnt some American sign language from online videos (the alphabet, greetings etc.) but it is hard to tell how reliable they are. I will dedicate as much time to signing as it takes for me to pick it up relatively fast but the biggest obstacles in my way are how expensive lessons are and how hard it is to find a teacher in Brisbane. I want a teacher who is patient and can easily explain things. SOmeone who isn't overly strict and doesn't overcharge for lessons.
