Hi Mandarin Teacher!
Please can you help find a Mandarin one-to-one study program in Kaohsiung or Singapore?
As a hotel professional (see my website not-permited- to-write-URL :( !) I want to study and become fluent in Mandarin as fast as possible. Having learned two foreign languages (English and French) I know the most efficient method to learn any language is to go the country and study with a native teacher one-to-one and immerse myself as far as possible in Mandarin.
Also, I have heard that Kaohsiung is the most interesting city in Taiwan. (Being Russian I certainly know the horrors of therefore do not want to live in bolshevik country like the so called People’s Republic of China !)
Can you recommend a school in Kaohsiung where I have quality private lessons? I must register in an officially recognized school to get a Taiwanese visa.
I am also open to the studying Mandarin in Singapore. Please inform on any possible Mandarin study programs in Singapore
Further, I am married and my husband who is an American ESL instructor trained at Columbia University in NYC will be going with me to Kaohsiung and we will of course live there together. Can you give any advice about how my husband can get a Taiwanese visa (perhaps a dependent’s visa?)?
