I'm quite interested in improving my Urdu skills. I took a couple of Urdu courses in college, but feel a need to raise my level of proficiency, especially oral.

I am starting on my journey towards getting my masters in deaf education. I will be doing a 13 week student teaching placement in September 2012 and this will be at a half deaf and half hearing school in Philadelphia! I need to learn ASL so that I can teach each and every student in my classroom and move forward in my deaf education study! I need to learn all aspects of ASL and am willing to dedicate whatever is needed to achieve this.

I hoping that my daughter can learn Mandarin Chinese as a skill she can take with her into the future. She is a beginner, and will need particular improvement in all areas. I'd like for her to study Chinese 1-2 times per week for an hour, preferably on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and/or Saturdays. I am looking for a teacher with whom my daughter will feel comfortable.
