My husband and I have wanted to learn spanish for some time and only now have more time available to pursue this interest. Although my husband has had some lessons and I lived in the US many years ago where I was exposed to some spanish speakers , I would say that we are both beginners.
W e will be travelling to Spain in late 2010 and would like to have some conversationa l spanish by then and if we enjoy it as I am sure we will we might pursue further lessons.
We are both still working fulltime but would have an hour or 2 once a week for lessons preferrably at our home in Norman Park Brisbane. Of course we would pay for travelling time and costs in addition to the hourly fee of lessons if that was required.
In terms of the qualities that we would be looking for in a teacher we would appreciate someone who was professional in their approach but enjoyed a laugh .
