I moved to Berlin 6 years ago, but only spoke English in the workplace so there was not a need to speak German. Also, two of those years I lived in Hong Kong and of course did not speak German while there.
I am starting a new job with Allianz and my German needs to improve fast.
I am currently at the EARLY A2 level, and I am looking for an intensiv, one on one, course with a private tutor to improve my german.
Th e areas I need particular improvement is Grammar, Conversation, with a slant toward business German.
I want to have a tutor for 2 hours a day, three days a week, maybe more depending on my schedule.
I am willing to commit to 3 months at this pace, and then possibly continuing afterwards twice a week depending on my progress.
Whats important for me is that the tutor has experience teaching Executives who need German for the workplace.
I want a teacher that is diligent, has a good intensiv plan in place that works well for Executives, and most of all has experience teaching intensiv German language courses, preferably at a top language school.
TH is is not a hobby I wish to pick up, it is a business need and I expect the tutor to treat is as such by having a clear map of what we will do, how we will do it, and regular testing involved to guage progress.
Forgive me is this sounds stern, but I know what I want and what I need Other than that I am a pretty easy going person that will be fun to work with over the next months.

My company is transferring me to Germany, and I would like to learn German as quickly as possible. I have some 'teach yourself' books and CD to start with, but I think I would learn much more in an instructor lead setting.
W e will most likely live near Regensburg and I'll work near Hohenfels.
I can speak VERY basic German (hello, goodbye, please, thank you, numbers 1-10, etc...) - my goal is to become very proficient in all aspects of the language (reading, writing, and speaking)
I would like to dedicate 2 days per week (in class) and I'll spend additional time at home.
The qualities I'm looking for in a teacher are - a good, patient, sincere, and confident teacher who can help me become a proficient German speaker.

I have enrolled for A! deutsche at the goethe inst in london, I have a weeks holiday to take first week of december but also would like to combine this with language tuition for 5 days, possible 2/3 hours aday. Female instructor preferred. As yet I have not decieded whether to come to halle or leipzig.

Hello,
My name is Marlena, I have recentley moved from England to Germany & have lived here since January, i am, unfortunately struggling to pick up the language & definately need lessons, I am a total beginner. I work 6 days a week, so would only have time for 1 lesson a week, i have been learning words, but struggle to put sentences together & lack the confidence to try to speak to people. The people i work with all speak reasonable English & so talk to me in English, which is lovely, but i would like the ability to talk to these people in their own language, so if anybody can help me, i have a car & map, so am willing to drive into düsseldorf or anywhere within the same vacinity, i live in Geldern & work in Vorst.
Any help would be greatfully appreciated . Thankyou
