I have had a long-term interest in improving my Vietnamese language skills but work, travel, family, and other priorities have left little time for meaningful or consistent study. A long time ago, I spent some time in Vietnam. Now that I am semi-retired, I would like to start a serious study program. I understand the basics and generally fit somewhere in the early intermediate stage but my skills are rusty and I have had a long gap since studying Vietnamese so some refresher basic training would be beneficial. My primary interest is in practical conversation and correct pronunciation as I have stronger reading-compr ehension skills. I am thinking that 3-4 hours of personal instruction a week would be helpful in supplementing my personal self-study program. I am seeking a mature teacher, middle aged or older, with good communication s skills, patience, a sense of humor, and someone who was native-born and understands Vietnamese culture and customs. I would prefer to have someone with stronger Vietnamese language skills even if English language skills are somewhat lighter and less than perfect.

I'M learning my foreign language because i'm a linguistic person who not only loves to learn new languuages, but also the culture, lives, and people of that place, and since i've started teaching myself Hangul(Korean ) everything about my daily life has been revolving around it.
my profienciency level is pretty basic considering the fact that i've just started and i'm teaching my self with help from internet resources.I feel like i need particular improvement in everything, grammar, conversation, you name it, i need the help.
I want to dedicate as much time as possible inorder to become as well as sound, proficient in Hangul. first, i would like to say KAMSAHMNIDA to anyone who picks me; however, i would like an actual korean who is not only fluent, but is willing to give their full on time and attention, as well as be patient, kind, and understanding .
