I'm in my 4th semester of college Russian and am going to study abroad this coming fall in St. Petersburg. I really need to have better grammar and learn a lot more verbs, especially for history and for athletics (since I will be taking history in Russian and hopefully doing athletic training there.)
I would like my teacher to be patient and a good conversationa list because I think that speaking is the most important thing!

I am a English speaker looking to learn Russian. Communication has been a passion for me for quite some time. I aim to achieve the capability of communication across most borders. Russian is a first step, my ultimate goal is to be proficient if not fluent in 4 languages. I want to begin with Russian because Russia has always interested me. I love the history the music (Vysotsky, to be more specific) and most of all I have fallen in love with the Russian authors of the 19th century, Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy, Gogol, etc. They are unmatched in their technical proficiency, and their metaphysical quandaries. To truly capture the essence of these great figures I need to understand their native tongue. I hope to dedicate as much time as possible to this study, however my financial situation is tight. I would like to find a teacher who is understanding of my fiscal situation along with my busy schedule.
