I am a beginner-neve r spoken a word of thai in my life. I am going to teach English in Thailand in October and would like to know enough of the language to get by and help with teaching. I was wonderng how much the lessons are because that would influence how often I took lessons. Ideally I would like to have 2 days a week for 1-2 hours or one day a week for 2-3 hours. I want an instructor that is very knowledgeable , patient, and creative. Also, could you please state where in Chicago the lessons are offered. I will be living in Wrigleyville from June to October.

I am a recent college graduate who is eager to learn Thai, which I don't have any background in. Though I live in Montgomery County, I am willing to meet with a teacher in the D.C. area, given the location is easily accessible by Metro.
