I am a high school student interested in learning begginer's German. I am willing to learn, to dedicate the time necessary, and simply immerse myself in the language and culture. I want to study film abroad if possible, and my main reason for learning German is German cinema. My family is originally from Poland and I am 3rd generation American. The Polish speakers in my family have since passed away. Before my grandfather died I promised him I would learn the language but I put it off for about 10 years. So...I know a few words in Polish but that's it. My proficiency level is beginner. I cannot afford weekly lessons but would like to have at least two lessons a month with study materials in between.

I'm looking to learn Dutch because I will be moving to the Nederlands in June of 2013 and I would like to be somewhat proficient. My boyfriend is from there and just recently moved back, although he is working in Germany. As of now, I cannot speak or understand any Dutch.
I'm looking for either weekly sessions or bi-weekly sessions. I'm also looking for a teacher who is extremely patient and can work around my schedule.
