I will be going to Lebanon April 2007, as a visiting artist, and would like to be able to converse with people, and possibly read, in Middle Eastern Arabic.
Ar eas: Conversation mostly, and practical grammer.
T ime: a few hours a week.
Qual ities: experience, if possible someone familiar with the Lebanese and/or Palestinian dialect. interested in role playing conversationa l methods. good sense of humour ;)

I would like to learn arabic. I have a interested but have never studied arabic before. I would like to learn classical arabic (fus-sah). Iam currently a fulltime student so the hours will have to be worked around my school hours. I would like my teacher to teach me reading, writing and basic verbal skills.

I would like to start learning arabic as a beginner.
I have spent 10 years of my childhood in the middle east and i love the arabic language and culture. I plan to work in the middle east in the future. Reading arabic is not a big issue for me, but understanding and speaking are the main areas i would like to be perfect at. I will spend as much time as it takes for me to speak arabic fluently. I am a full time college student, but i'm definately willing to fit the arabic classes in my schedule. I hope my arabic teacher will help me achieve my goal.
