I can speak Hindi (not much practice now) but not read or write. I have always though that I would have access to alot more learning especially when it came to ancient texts if I could read and write. I also have a 3 yo son and want to know how to read and write so I can teach him.
My hindi is not that fluent because I dont get much practice but would like to be able to.
I really want to increase my vocabalary. I dont really know anything about the gammar or sentence construction.
Not sure exactly how much time but at least weekly lessons and 'practice' during the week.
In a teacher I want someone who is engaging and can make the subject matter interesting. I promise to be interested and a good student.

I would like to learn Thai so that when I travel I can communicate better with the local people. I am only a beginner and do not know much more then the basics i.e. swa dee cup. I am learning Arabic out of self interest and career possibilities in the future. I have studied for two and a half years at Sydney University with a 4 month period of study In Damascus and Amman , I wish to continue but need the help of a tutor to make study more regular and intensive. I mainly need help with conversationa l Arabic and Grammar. I am of an intermediate level and would like to improve my vocabulary and language ability in all areas. Most of my classes have been held purely in Arabic
I am looking for around 3-4 hours per week plus self-study/ho mework. I am looking for a teacher able to provide a good homework plan as well as a good knowledge of Modern Standard Arabic, its grammar and vocabulary.
