I am learning Japanese for fun but would like to eventually become fluent so that I can maybe use it in my professional life as well. I would also like to live in Japan for a extended period of time. I have been studying off and on since 2000 and have taken lots of classes but have not had a tutor. I passed the JLPT N5 in Dec. 2010 and I'm currently waiting on the results of the JLPT N4 from Dec. 2011. I would be considered intermediate but have a hard time speaking because I'm worried about pronunciation and rememebring the sentence structure. I understand (when listening) pretty well because of Japanese Anime and Dramas but I'm afraid to speak so it takes me a while for me to respond. I would like to do some kind of session video or in person twice a week for (1 hour maybe?) but it depends on the fee. I would like a teacher that can help me get past my fear of speaking and become fluent.

Namaste. Mera naam Robert Smith hai. Meree hindi bahut kharab hai, lekin main thora thora samajhta hoon.
I am trying to learn hindustani (hindi/urdu/p unjabi). I am a beginner, but have a small vocabulary and can read and write hindi script (would also like to learn the urdu script as well). So far all of my studies have been on my own using online materials, books, films, and rosetta stone software.
I have pretty much plateaued at this point and feel that I really need the structure and discipline that one on one tutoring can provide.
I live in the Fell's Point area of Baltimore, MD.
