My level of spanish is between begginner and intermidient. As a child, I grew up learning Spanish and English at the same time. After I moved away, I moved to a town were not many people spoke spanish. I want to learn or refresh my memory because I know it will help me find better jobs. I understand when people are speaking to me in Spanish, but I do not know how to talk back. I would like to spend 1 day out of the weekend learning for as many weeks as needed. I would like a teacher to push me to my limits. I also would like a teacher who can teach me medical spanish because I am working in the healthfield. I would prefer to meet with a teacher in person and who lives close by. I live in West Houston. (Westchase area). I am a mother of two currently in school so I'm looking for affordable prices. I am a beginner never studied french ever. I want to learn for two reason first, I want to be able to speak french with my cajun friends in Louisiana. Second I plan to travel to some french speaking countries. If I can go from zero to conversation would be good but if I am stair stepped by different tutors I will be good with that as long as I maximize that level before the next level. I can dedicate 1-3 hours a week for 3 days a week. I am looking for a teacher who can be honest and push me until I get it, patient, give me their best.

I am now learning to read and right devanagari. I feel with some guidance I can master that aspect in a very short period of time. I can already recognize many key words in hindi, such as question words who, what, where, when, why, and how. I want to learn Hindi because I will be traveling to India next year and hope it will make the trip easier. I have somewhat of an affinity for language and I don't anticipate that pronunciation will be much of a challenge.
I'm willing to dedicate about three sessions a week to my language lessons. 1-2 hour sessions would be ideal. I'm looking for a teacher who is funny and laid back. I have a slightly different style of learning, and need a teacher who can be flexible with that. I am extremely motivated to learn Hindi.

I have been traveling to India for the past seven years. I have a basic understanding on the Devanagari alphabet and would like to be able to translate Hindi lectures into English.
