Dear
I'm located in Singapore but I'm working also with China, India and Bangladesh.
I want to learn Tamil to get the basic skill when I travel to India but also Bangladesh (I'm dealing with south India). Of course Language is one thing, culture is another one but I'm interested in both so I'm really motivated to start this new language
D utch is different. My husband is dutch and later we are going to live in Amsterdam therefore I need to improve my dutch skill for social reason. I already have some basic skill in dutch.

I would like to start learning Tamil. For the past year I've been working with foreign workers from India and would like at least some knowledge of Tamil, with a goal of being able to understand and participate in conversation. I am not concerned about exams.
I would like private lessons, perhaps two times/week.
A teacher with experience, an linguistic understanding of Tamil, patience in dealing with a beginner would be wonderful.

I have been a fan of language. Linguistics basically. I first got an offer at Islamic University to do BEN. But I wasnt sure that time that i want to be fully tie in with language.
But I do now, as i've started working and extra language do helps in the pay as well as career advancement.
I will like to learn as much, so i will be aligh with the job requirement to work overseas.
I could do 2 to 3 times per week classes or more if I have the time.
I need someone who have experienced in teaching. Having the patience to just teach from books but giving the extras to students.
