I know very little croatian, though my uncle and grandpa speak it (they are from the Dalmatian Islands region), and I travel to croatia often so I have been exposed to the language a lot. I would like to learn Croatian for my travels there. I could dedicate almost every night to learning the language for a hour or 2. I'm looking for a teacher that can teach me the dialect spoken in Split, not in Zagreb or other parts of Croatia. I would like a teacher who could help me learn skills in a way that I can apply them to the language and someone who can be patient.

Croatian was the first language I learned as a young child. I have not spoken it fluently in many years since moving back to the US. I would like to learn conversationa l Croatian.
