I want to learn Arabic because I have hopes of working for the FBI and it is a very useful language in such field of work. I only know one greeting and how to say thank you, so my proficiency level is non-existent. I plan on studying this language at the University of Utah, where I plan to begin in the fall of 2012 and would like to at least minor, if not major in Arabic. I would like to get a jump start on learning what I can before hand however, so that I can move through the curriculum faster. I wonder what the schedule for the lessons would be like and how much the cost would be.
