I studied Spanish for several years but never got the chance to travel to a Spanish-speak ing country and practice speaking the language. I am planning to go on a ten day trip to Ecuador in July, but my Spanish is so rusty that I am really worried that I won't be able to manage! I need help in basic conversation skills to help me get by in Ecuador. Right now, I am at a beginner's level, but will be able to relearn very quickly with practice! I have a lot of free time to dedicate to these lessons between now & July 9th when I leave for Ecuador. So, maybe 2 or 3 times a week would be helpful, depending on cost.

My wife and I want to learn Mandarin. We are interested in it because we think it limits our world view NOT to understand Mandarin. My wife is currently learning Japanese.
We both would be pure beginners in Chinese. We would like to dedicate 2 hours a week to classes. But we can be flexible. We don't mind online classes... but would require at least some face to face interaction.
We would like our classes to be well structured. We don't want to learn enough to be tourists... or just for business. We want a well rounded course that includes grammar, plus immersion (listening + oral work).
