I have studied spanish in the past and I used to be intermediate. I haven't spoken or studied in many years so now I would say I am maybe advanced beginner. I want to learn spanish again because as an american spanish is very important. Also, I would like to live and work in central or South America in the future. I need to work on grammar and verb conjugation as well as general conversation. I would be willing to study several hours a week. I would like to be in a class with other students (I really enjoy the class atmosphere) and I would expect a kind teacher with good pronunciation and knowledge of slang/informa l spanish.

I can read it quite well, but i dont know what I am reading much of the time.

*** I studied spanish for 4 years in high school but need to refresh my grammar, verb tenses, et cetera..
I want to be fluent by the end of the year!!
i'd like to meet twice a week if possible. i teach english so 2x per week is all i can do!

I am looking to learn Spanish because I want to move to Spain in the future. I have been studying on my own for about 2 months now using only podcasts, internet lessons and books I have found.
My biggest weakness with the language is my conversationa l skills, this is because I rarely hear the Spanish spoken lanuage. I am very eager to learn fast.
From my teacher, I would expect a friendly approach and diverse ideas with lessons.
I am happy to dedicate 20-30 hrs studying a week, although I know this will largely be on my own.
