Learning the Korean Language is crucial for my future plans and for my life. I'm a Linguistis major and I would like to take the TOPIK test later on. Also, I''m a Mexican-Korea n descendant and it's very important to be involved with the Korean culture because I don't want to lose my Korean identity. Additionally, in a future I would like to search for a job in Korea and live there for a period of time. I went to Korea during the summer 2010 and I studied the Korean Language Beginners I at Sogang University; after that I stopped studying Korean so I consider myself a beginner. Even though I can read and write Korean I need to improve my comprehension and conversation. I want to dedicate between 2-3 hours per week studying Korean looking to improve my Korean skills in a notorious way having a teacher who can help me to learn in the easiest possible way but at the same time being very strict with my learning process.

The lessons would be for my daughter, Cory, age 15, who wishes to learn Korean as a foreign language requirement at her charter school. Her choice of the Korean language rather than perhaps Spanish is based on her strong interest in the Asian countries and cultures as well as a goal of using the Korean language in her career. She has independently studied from texts and online, yet is considered a beginner.
She would expect a minimum of one hour direct teaching per week in addition to assignments and practice outside of class. Her teacher should be somewhat patient but set expectations for Cory. Also a native speaker whom is able to impart not only the language but the cultural appropriatene ss of useage and accent.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I recently moved back to the San Diego area with my family several months ago. I'm looking for a Hindi tutor for myself and my family.
My family and I are looking for someone who could provide private tutoring at our home in spoken and written Hindi. My wife and I understand basic Hindi, but neither of us speak it well (my native language is Kannada, and my wife’s is Gujarati). I am quite familiar with Devanagri script, so reading is not an issue. We would like to give our daughters (5 years and 2 years) an immersion in the language in a proper, structured manner. We have a wide range of grammar books, dictionaries, software, etc., but we lack the help of a native speaker.
We are happy to pay well for proper, structured lessons and are willing to commit to weekly homework assignments. An ideal situation would be 2 hours a week. The first hour would be for me since I am more familiar with written Hindi and elementary grammar. The second hour would be to work with my wife and daughters to build basic spoken and then written proficiency.
In terms of a teacher, we are looking for someone who is passionate about the subject, is professional and is results driven. We are keen on a native Hindi speaker or someone who has spent a lot of time in North India. Getting proper accent and inflection is critical for us. We are a disciplined family and are committed to serious study.
