I am extremely interested and motivated to learn Polish. My wife is Polish, and we have a three year old daughter who is also speaking Polish as well as English. I lived in Poland for about nine months, but my level of Polish is minimal. I learn from my daughter and the little I picked up while living there. I taught English while in Poland, and I can understand more than I can communicate, even if my understanding is very general. I want to learn and am interested in at least weekly lessons. I would like to find a teacher which I can relate to and who can also show me ways to learn on my own so that it becomes a lifelong process.

My daughter Alexandra lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with her Mom. She speaks English and French and would like to learn Polish to be able to speak with the Polish part of the family. I am currently dating a polish gentleman now for 2 and a half years. His family speaks fluent Polish, including himself, while his sisters and him do speak fluent English his parents do not. I want to be able to communicate better with his family as well as show I am committed to their lifestyle and I am willing to learn his native language for him. I do know some small words and phrases but nothing in great depths. I am at the beginner stage and woule like to learn mostly conversation and grammer as I am going to Europe next summer to visit his family. I do have a year before I go so I want to learn slowly because I am working full time as well as going to school. I need a teacher who is dedicated as well as patient as no second language comes easy. I am a hard worker and I am really looking forward to learning to speak Polish. Thank you.
