I would like to learn to speak fluent Spanish for many reasons. My fiance is from Colombia and I enjoy speaking with him and his family. It will also help with my career as well as me being in love with the language. I took lessons for several years when I was in high school (many years ago) and I have lost much of what I learned. I still understand a lot of the language but can only speak a selected amount. I have always struggled with the many tenses of Spanish and look forward to ironing that part out as well as being able to effectively hold a conversation with my new Grandmother-i n-law (she speaks only Spanish). I'd also like to raise our future children with both languages (English/Span ish). I am willing to put in a few hours every week. More if I have the time although, I am currently a graduate student and I work part-time as well as being a mother. Time is scarce but I am willing to put in what it takes to finally accomplish what I have always wanted. I'd prefer to have a teacher that is laid-back and fun to be around. I find I learn a lot more when I can converse with someone often even if I'm not in a lesson. I want someone who is dedicated to teaching and helping as well as someone whose native tongue is Spanish (preferably Spain or South American Spanish-Colom bian if available!) I'd also like someone who is willing to take the lesson outside the classroom. Interactivity is an excellent way to learn (e.g. going to the fruit market, copy market etc. to learn vocabulary and how to ask simple requests)

Hi!
I would like to learn Spanish, because first of all I love it and I need it for my work.
I am the very begginer level. I need to learn how to speak, write and read and grammer also important.
I would like to have 2 classes x 1,5 hour per week.
I want my teacher to have methodic and give me different kinds of tasks (for reading, writing, speaking). I believe myself to be a fast learner, that is why I require my teacher to give me as much info as I can receive in each lesson. And he/she should be able to explain the material in understandabl e way.

I am a graduate student of Architecture at the University of Lagos. I intend to be very fluent in Spanish just as I am in English. I fell in love with Spain as a child and I've since fallen in love with the architecture, people, soccer, women etc.
