I wish to learn portuguese in practical reasons, since I will be spending my summer (2 month) in Braga, Portugal. In the future, the knowledge might be helpful for the career as well, because I'm thinking of going to Brazil for work some day. I am a beginner, although few years ago I started learning the language, but I ended after 3 month because of other reasons. I was studying spanish for some time before, but haven't been practicing it for long time. Nonetheless I think I have it in the back of my mind and it helped me in learning portuguese, because especially the words look very similar. I wish to acquire as much knowledge as possible for 2 month that I will be in Braga, but mainly conversationa l language is the priority.

Hello,
My ancestors are from a Lusophone country named Guinea Bissau. After meeting individuals from Bissau and forging friendships, I decided to learn the Portuguese language to enhance my knowledge of the culture and its people. I am a beginner with very limited knowledge of a few words that I learned on my own.
Speci fically, I am only interested in learning Euro Portuguese, preferably from a native Euro Portuguese speaker fluent in English. I have a busy work schedule and prefer of have lessons that include grammar and conversation no more than once or twice per week. My goal is to become fluent.
