I am Indian, my first language was Hindi but I stopped speaking when I came to the US at age 4. I would like to relearn my native tongue to be able to speak it to my children one day.
I understand conversationa l Hindi completely and can speak very little broken Hindi.
I want to be able to speak conversationa l Hindi completely. I'm not interested in reading or writing it.
I'm willing to dedicated 4-6 hours/week to learn Hindi.
In a teacher, I am looking for them to have substantive experience with teaching Hindi as well as knowing what teaching methods work to yield results with students in a reasonable amount of time. I'm also looking for them to be a good listener and know what their student is ultimately looking for success in.
