I am American, I have a large number of international friends, and to be honest, I am always very embarrassed to only know English fluently. I want to learn at least two other languages. I do speak french, and I simply want to become more fluent, in particular to improve my listening comprehension and speaking skills. I often find that I can express myself quite well, but that I have trouble understanding when conversations become quicker. Unfortunately , my university does not offer french language courses, so I need to find a way to maintain my skills. I would like to dedicate at least 4 hours per week to speaking french. I would like a teacher who will help me improve my speaking and listening abilities in conversation. Lessons in person would be best but I don't mind using skype or other online services.

I love languages, and have always been fascinated by them. I am a Latin major in college, and I am learning ancient Greek as well. But I have always wanted to learn Irish. I am a total beginner, but since I have studied Latin for five years, and am now also learning Greek, I believe that I can pick things such as paradigms up quickly when they are presented to me. I want to learn whatever someone wishes to teach me about the language.
