It is for two children aged 10 and six years. Their parents are of Indian origin however, the kids are brought up in US. They can have one to three hours a week. i would prefer it if the teacher could come to our home but, if necessary i can drive the kids upto 20 miles for the lessons.

I desperately want to learn Hindi, Malayalam and Sanskrit to help further my spiritual pursuits in India and to let me converse directly with my Guru and other sadhus. I know only a few phrases in Hindi, even less in Malayalam, but having been chanting Sanskrit and learning definitions of words steadily for the past couple of years.

I am a self learner at the intermediate level. I need help with translating and also with understanding grammar and slang terms too. I am learning Hindi because I am thinking of going to live in India for an extended period of time.
I can dedicate two hours/week through email, etc.
I would like someone who can also do urdu if that is possible.
I would like a teacher who can patiently explain why some words appear in sentences when they don't make sense to me. I have trouble with hindi because it is a verb final language. I am a little thick there.
